Today, we are going to catch up with Omega Jade

What’s up guys? I have a treat today, catching up with a powerful, driven female rapper. I don’t get to write enough about bad bitches, but Omega Jade is definitely one!

Since we last spoke, Jade has actually started her own blog and a line of merchandise.

She has been coming in to her own and she is a force to be reckoned with.

She also has a new line of candles called Jaded Lit Scents and on January 7th, there will be a Black Artist Market at the Richard Kemp Center. Jade has organized the event herself.

Omega Jade | The Music

Since her last feature, Jade has released a couple of singles and an album called Yin and Yang featuring Jobu.

This track called “Create the Village” is about being an independent woman without community. A woman that does everything alone and had to create her own community. After traveling the East Coast all alone for the last ten years and founding Nevernaire Media Group on top of working a full time job, I totally get this concept.

The track “It ain’t about me” is about settling down and being a family and the difference in your life once you have children. It’s also about the divide that can happen between the parents under the stress of having a child.

What’s next?

Omega Jade has a lot of great things just on her horizon. She can make things happen if she continues to put in the work and I have no doubt that she is going to do just that.

CHECK HER OUT ON SPOTIFY AND INSTAGRAM. BE SURE TO LIKE AND FOLLOW SO THAT YOU’RE IN THE KNOW ABOUT WHAT SHE HAS GOING ON NEXT.
