Hey guys what’s up? Tonight’s featured artist is Omega Jade out of Burlington, Vermont. Miss Jade is bringing an old school sound with no shame. She is all about truth and being real and it shows in her lyrics. If you know me, you know that I’m a sucker for a strong woman that takes no shit.
Miss Jade also uses her music and her spoken word poetry to teach Black History. This is SO important – now more than ever with a whole generation of kids that just don’t know where they come from.
Omega Jade – The Music
I’ve been listening to Jade’s music for a bit now because she is on the Nevernaire Radio roster. And I am so impressed. Let’s begin with “G That I Am” because this track is FIRE!
The female vocals? Insane. INSANE! The lyrics and delivery are just so on point. She doesn’t fuck around. She doesn’t give a fuck. She’s just Omega Jade and she’s cool with that.
“When I say G, I mean Goddess”
She’s saying a MOUTHFUL right there. To all young and aspiring women, this is how you do it. You just do YOU and don’t worry about anyone else.
I listen to “The Power of my Mantra” ALL the time. It’s one of the tracks that I chose for Nevernaire Radio because it is so uplifting. She talks about being the architect and designer of her own destiny. And this is so true. The instrumental is perfect too. It’s just a killer track.
