The Legendary Eric B. of the hiphop artist duo Eric B and Rakim was released from a New Jersey prison today after serving a month due to an open case from 2001!
He was returning from a trip to Canada when he found out about the open case. Apparently, his lawyer in 2001 (whom is now serving jail time himself for murder) told him that the matter was resolved.
And had to pay a fine of $5,000 and will have to return to court on November 22nd.
