What’s up guys? Tonight’s featured guest is Flex45 out of Asheville, NC. Having started rapping in ’93, he’s got a whole lot to say.

Flex45 got his start after listening to “Creepin’ on a Come up” by Bone Thugs N’ Harmony. An incredible album, I can see why it would inspire someone to start rapping.

“Being able to connect with other people that dig my craft and the hustle of others, trying to legally get it, everyday.”

Flex45 is looking for the opportunity to share “conscious rap” with people. Rap with a message. “My main goal in music is to tell my story. To inspire. To give back instead of take. I want to further the culture in a positive way.”

Flex45 – The Music

Definitely reminiscent of Bone Thugs’ style. This song has a great hook and chill sound with a good message. His style is refreshing. Something that isn’t really being done anymore and it would be a shame for this kind of Hip hop to go away.

Obviously this is a little more fun. I added this to show the variety that he has in his flow! He can bring that quick and hard flow and stays true to his style.
