L.B. has been at it for years and he says that he wasn’t born with a natural ability to rap. He says that he has spent countless hours crafting his style and clearly it’s paid off!
Vancouver has a great Hip hop scene. The thing is, getting the right attention on it. Because the scene is small and there isn’t a lot of media coverage on the area.
“What we are missing in the city is an artist that can breakthrough the industry barriers and build a pathway for smaller acts to get noticed and build media coverage. Which is why I am so adamant on making sure that my brand represents Canadian hip hop and will hopefully give more exposure to the city.“
L.B. actually started out three years ago as a ghost writer for other rappers. Then, he got more into the music side and his rap career began. L.B. stands for Lexi Black. Lexi Black has a small cult following that has started to grow into a decent following on Spotify and Instagram.
His goal is to link up with other creatives and bring exposure to the fact that you don’t have to be born with “it” to do what you dream of doing. You can do it through practice and dedication.
L.B. – The Music
This song is DOPE! I love the instrumental and the hard beats. Not to mention, the lyrics are on point.
This is the latest video dropped by L.B. With almost 19k plays on YouTube, this song’s numbers really speak for themselves.
More hard beats paired with the perfect instrumental and flow. This track is pretty popular on Spotify (and rightfully so…). This kid is a great example of what you can accomplish with hard work and dedication.
